Dr. Cordi serves as Associate Medical Director of Emergency Medical Services of NYP*EMS, the largest Voluntary EMS System in the US. She has played an active role in the city's 911 system, serving on several committees including the BLS, ALS, Training and Education (Chair) and the Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee. She is also an active representative to the Westchester Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee and chairs the EMS Protocol Committee. In addition, she spends time participating at the Hudson Valley REMAC.
Dr. Cordi spends a great deal of time actively training and teaching EMTs and Paramedics at various programs not only in New York City, but also overseas. Dr. Cordi is Board Certified in Disaster Medicine, and is Secretary to the American Board of Disaster Medicine. In her home village of Elmsford, Dr. Cordi also acts as the Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer of the Elmsford Fire Department. In addition she is on the EMS Editorial Advisory Board for Jones & Barlett Publishers, and is on the Review Board for Emergency Physicians in Germany.
